Fringed & Fabulous

This batik surface design project uses the “quilt as you go” method used in traditional “rag” quilts. The clipped raw edges of the batik curl and fringe creating a soft texture. This quilt provides lots of learning opportunities such as machine quilting, couching and decorative stitches. Complete one block at a time and add simple surface design for a fun finish. Fat Quarter friendly - Each fat quarter is equivalent to one block front. An additional fat quarter will be needed for each block back. Pattern is written for multiple sizes.
