• Written in block-of-the-month format with lots of illustrations and printed for easy kitting

• Each pattern includes an 8½" x 11" color picture of the quilt and full size appliqué patterns.

• Pattern can be shipped to shops complete or in the following three installments of four blocks each:

• 1. December, 2008: Blocks 1-4

• 2. March, 2009: Blocks 5-8 plus 1st and 2nd royal installments

• 3. July, 2009: Blocks 9-12 plus 3rd royal installment and finishing instructions

• 12" blocks use basic quilting skills and tools, and provide teaching opportunities

• Appliqué is done in block form to be less intimidating. See examples of how the appliqué blocks are formed.

• Monthly blocks 1 - 12 represent the court with a special center block representing the Queen. The appliqué and checkerboard setting blocks enhance blocks 1-12,making
  a true heirloom quilt.
• In addition to the blocks, the pattern has been designed with three “Royal Installments” (the “Queen”center block, the appliqué and the checkerboard).
  Encourage your customers to complete the installments gradually throughout the year for a quicker final quilt assembly.

• The January 2009 initial shipment of fabric will include
  one bolt each of the twelve fabrics used in the quilt.
  Individual bolt sizes will range from 10 to 20 yards, depending on their usage in the quilt. From these fabrics, you will be able to kit up to twenty-four sets of blocks 1 -12.

Deadlines:

•  The deadline to order the additional bolts for the Royal Installments is March 15, 2009 for a June 30th ship date.
• Participants in the BOM program will have until June 30, 2009 to order the yardage needed to finish the quilt. The finishing kit can began shipping to the stores between October 15 and Dec 1, 2009, making this an inventory friendly program.
• Timeless Treasures will stock this collection only through December, 2009. All fabrics for the Marie Antoinette BOM program must be shipped by
  December, 2009.
